愛山渓温泉

　大雪山などの登山口にあり、登山客などが利用している温泉です。

　国道を離れ19km、舗装と山道の坂を車で登ります。泉質はナトリウム・マグネシウム－炭酸水素塩・硫酸塩泉。

　風呂は露天などなく、小さな内湯がひとつある質素な佇まいの温泉でした。自家発電のため、ドライヤーはありませんでした。この温泉は飲用の許可もあります。

　５月～１０月までの営業です。
　冬季は休館で、道路も封鎖されます。

　主に登山客が利用しているようで、食堂では11時から15時まで食事できます。電力不足の時は灯りがランプになることも。宿泊はヒュッテと本館の２館があり、ヒュッテは素泊まりで自炊となります。（2003記）
